The Walldogs committee met last night at the Black Hawk College Community Education Center in Kewanee for a progress report on that project.
Russell Medley is the Executive Director of the Kewanee Economic Development Corporation and he says that the group now knows what themes will be used for the murals that will be painted in Kewanee next year by the Walldogs…

Berniece Kuster, 95, of Kewanee, Il. died at 8:00 P.M. Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Kewanee Care Home.
Berniece was born July 23, 1916 in Neponset, Il. the daughter of Reinhart and Caroline (Heise) Kaiser. She married Raymond Kuster February 24, 1935. He preceded her in death on April 6, 1979. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Harold and Floyd Kaiser.

Joseph Giorno, 92, of Kewanee, Il. died at 1:45 A.M. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Toulon Health Care Center. Joe was born February 13, 1920 in Chicago, Il. the son of Frank and Myrtle (Rizzo) Giorno.
