Friday Evening, Kewanee police issued a citation to 32 year old Christie Allen of New Lenox for speeding 46 in a 30 mph zone. She was given a notice to appear.

33 year old Hayley Webster of Kewanee was issued a citation for speeding 53 in a 40 mph zone.  She was given a notice to appear.

Two men were arrested after a traffic stop in the 200 block of Rice Street late Friday night.  27 year old Carlos Guerro-Herrera of Monmouth was arrested for driving on a suspended license.  He posted bond.  24 year old Fabian Zapata-Ramos of Galesburg was arrested for a Warren County warrant for failure to appear on a DUI charge.  He also posted bond.

On Saturday afternoon, there was an accident in the 700 block of Tenney Street between vehicles driven by 74 year old Patricia Damron of Kewanee and 31 year old Elizabeth Smullen of Peoria.  There were no injuries or citations.

A vehicle driven by 17 year old Nicole Hill of Kewanee struck a vehicle owned by 50 year old Patricia Daniels of Kewanee.  No injuries or citations were reported.

44 year old Scott Murphy of Galva was issued a citation for disobeying a signal indicating the approach of a train.  He posted his driver’s license as bond.

Kewanee police arrested 35 year old Amy Reed of Sheffield on a LaSalle County warrant for driving on a suspended license.  She posted bond.

Kewanee Police issued 25 year old Justin Allen Trayer a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle, a notice to appear was issued.

86 year old Mary A Wysowski of Kewanee and 37 year old Jim H Anderson of Cambridge struck, no injuries, citations issued to Wysowski for disobeying a traffic control device.

24 year old Felcia A Gibson of Kewanee was arrested on a Henry County Warrant for FTA for driving while suspended, bond was posted.

18 year old Ashley R Ellsworth of Stillman Valley was issued a citation for speeding 50 in a 35, a NTA was issued.

18 year old Jerry A Nanniga of Kewanee turned himself in on a Henry County warrant for FTA for resisting a peace officer, unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, possession of cannabis, he was unable to post bond and taken to the Henry County Jail.

19 year old Elizabeth Yelm of Kewanee was arrested for possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license is suspended and on a Henry County warrant for FTA of driving while license is suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was taken to jail.

22 year old Amanda J Kirkhove was issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle, a NTA was issued.

Friday afternoon, 23 year old Shannon Clayes of Kewanee struck a vehicle operated by 64 year old Virgil Stowe Jr. of Princeton.  There were no injuries or citations reported.

Kewanee police issued a citation to 23 year old Karl Branom of Kewanee for no insurance.  He was given a notice to appear.

A vehicle owned by 74 year old Marie Ainley of Kewanee was struck by an unknown vehicle.

A vehicle driven by 16 year old Ben Pickering of Neponset backed into a parked vehicle belonging to 18 year old Amanda Kaiser of Annawan in the 1200 block of East Third Street.  There were no injuries or citations.

20 year old Seth Mowbray of Kewanee was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for no insurance.  He was unable to post bond and was transported to the Henry County Jail.

24 year old William Peed Jr. turned himself in for a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for reckless driving.  He posted bond.

Early Saturday morning, Kewanee police arrested 24 year old Ryan Labedis of Kewanee for aggravated assault and unlawful use of a weapon.  He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

An accident at Hollis and Mill involving two vehicles resulted in one person being transported to Kewanee Hospital and a citation for another.  42 year old Michelle Turchi was transported to the hospital and 45 year old Dale DeClercq was cited for failure to yield at a stop intersection.

22 year old Dimitri Lopez of Kewanee was arrested for criminal damage to property.  He posted bond and was released.

Kewanee police arrested 29 year old Troy Jordan of Kewanee for driving while license suspended.  He posted bond ans was released.

20 year old Drew Smith of Kewanee was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of driving while license suspended.  He posted bond and was released.

Kewanee Police cited 18 year old James T Sissel of Neponset for a loud muffler.

A vehicle operated by 56 year old Stephen L Tellier of Kewanee struck a parked and unattended vehicle owned by 46 year old Mary J Folger of Kewanee, no injuries or citations.

35 year old Benahdam M Hurt of Kewanee was arrested on a Henry County warrant for criminal trespass to land, state supported land and resisting an officer and disorderly conduct, he was taken to jail.

20 year old Fransisco P Torres of Kewanee was arrested on a Henry County warrant for FTA for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, bond was posted.

An accident at Tenney and South, vehicle's driven by 39 year old Rita A Meaker of Toulon struck a vehicle driven by 22 year old Davon L Cooper of Kewanee. Meaker was issued a citation for failure to yield while turning left. No injuries reported.

29 year old Harry T Russell of Kewanee was arrested on a Henry County warrant for FTA, bond was posted.

21 year old Jose Tarin Ruiz of Kewanee was arrested for possession of fictitious of unlawful altered ID card and a Henry County warrant for FTA for unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor, he was taken to jail.

44 year old Katherine V Elliott of Neponset was arrested on a Henry County warrant for FTA for having no insurance.

Kewanee Police arrested 21 year old Jennifer A McFadden of Kewanee for contributing to the delquency of minors. The following were arrestred for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. 18 year old Nicholas J Swearingen, 20 year old Timothy M Mannon, 18 year old Amberlynn R Hockett, 20 year old Brittany J Harris, 19 year old Molly S Horsley, a 16 year old female, 17 year old Charmane D Russell was also charged with resisting arrest, a 15 year old male was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer.

Friday morning, Kewanee police arrested 27 year old Mark Dobbels of Kewanee on a valid Henry County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of falsification of deer permit application/taking without valid deer permit.  He posted bond and was released.

41 year old Randall Vinson of Kewanee was arrested for leaving the scene of a property damage accident, driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.  He posted bond and was released.

Early Saturday morning, a vehicle owned by 35 year old Michelle Phillips of Kewanee was struck by an unknown vehicle.  43 year old Tony Abbott was later cited for operating an uninsured vehicle in reference to that incident.

16 year old Alyssa Watt of Toulon struck a vehicle driven by 23 year old Michelle Calmer of Kewanee.  Watt was cited for failure to yield after a stop.  No injuries were reported.

28 year old Brett Johnson of Kewanee was arrested for driving while license suspended.  He posted bond and was released.

Early Sunday morning, a vehicle owned by 38 year old David Wiegand of Kewanee was struck by an unknown vehicle.

42 year old Karen S Murphy of Kewanee struck a vehical driven by 60 year old John L Smith of Mineral, no injuries or citations.

Kewanee Police report 60 year old Patricia E Trickle of Toulon struck a yellow safety pole, no injuries or citations.

17 year old Dylan E Moore of Toulon struck pedestrian 61 year old Anthony L Graf of Kewanee. Graf was taken to Kewanee Hospital. Moore was issued a citation for failure to yield to a crosswalk.

Kewanee Police cited 37 year old Brenda G Johnson of Kewanee for driving in the left lane.

18 year old John H Trussen of Kewanee issued a citation for disobeying a traffic control device.

An accident between 16 year old Coay J Werderman and 52 year old Cynthia L Melo of Kewanee took place. Werderman was cited for driving to fast for conditions.

Friday morning, 25 year old Brett Longeville of Kewanee struck a vehicle operated by 62 year old Carl Prokes of Princeton.  There were no  injuries or citations.

38 year old Shawn Swearingen of Kewanee was arrested Friday afternoon on a US Marshall service warrant for mandatory release violation.  He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

30 year old Scott Imes of Kewanee struck a vehicle operated by 40 year old Rocio Cano of Kewanee.  There were no injuries, but Imes was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Early Saturday morning, 23 year old Shawna Willis of Richmond, Il., and 21 year old Jasmine Wilson of Kewanee were arrested for criminal trespass to state supported property.

67 year old Gary Thurston of Kewanee backed into a parked vehicle owned by 34 year old April Vogt.  There were no injuries.

A vehicle driven by 16 year old Cody Werderman of Kewanee struck a vehicle driven by 52 year old Cynthia Melo of Kewanee.  Melo was transported to Kewanee Hospital by Kewanee Rescue Squad.  A citation is pending.

There was a car vs. pedestrian accident Saturday afternoon at 2nd and Main St.  The pedestrian was taken to Kewanee Hospital by Kewanee Rescue Squad.

Kewanee police issued a citation to 69 year old Francis Sierens of Mineral for disobeying a traffic control device.  He was given a notice to appear.

30 year old Joshua Blanford of Sheffield was issued a citation by Kewanee police for operating an uninsured vehicle.

17 year old Curtis Nelson of Annawan was issued a citation for speeding 42mph in a 30.

40 year old Nelson Sparrow of McCalla, Al. was issued a citation for disobeying a traffic control device.

Early Sunday morning, Kewanee police issued a citation for driving in the left lane to 37 year old Brenda Johnson of Galva. 

A vehicle driven by 43 year old Daniel A Smith of Kewanee struck a vehicle driven by 40 year old Melton Castillo of Kewanee. No injuries reported.

21 year old Morris D Rosebecke of Kewanee struck a pole, no injuries, he was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

Early Friday morning, Kewanee Police arrested 31 year old Jeremy Kersey of Kewanee for battery and transported him to the Henry County Jail.

Kewanee Police arrested 39 year old Talbert McClendon for domestic battery.  He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

22 year old Horace Johnson was arrested for operating an uninsured vehicle and possession of cannabis less than 2 grams.  He posted $100 cash bond and was released.

31 year old George Hansen of Kewanee was issued a notice to appear Friday afternoon for criminal damage to property.

A 16 year old female juvenile was issued a notice to appear for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and released to her parents.

30 year old Patrick DeMuynck was issued citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage after an accident at Rose and Washington Streets.  A vehicle operated by DeMuynck struck an utility pole, backed into another on the other side of the road, then went around the block and struck the first one again.  There were no injuries.

Kewanee Police arrested 22 year old George Aminas Friday night in the 700 block of Tenney for retail theft.  He was given a notice to appear.

Saturday afternoon, a vehicle operated by 65 year old Sandra Sturm of Castleton struck a vehicle operated by 21 year old Nicole Marsh of Kewanee.

20 year old Levi Burcham of Kewanee was arrested for driving while license suspended.  He posted bond and was released.

Kewanee Police issued a citation for speeding 42 in a 30 to 20 year old Blake DeReu.

33 year old Edward Kolata of Kewanee was arrested for unlawful  possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  He posted bond.

45 year old Billy Young was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for burglary.  He posted bond.

Kewanee Police arrested 42 year old David Turner of Kewanee for domestic battery.  He was transported to the Henry County Jail.
