Kewanee Police arrested 19 year old Charlie L Womack of Silvis, 20 year old Jeremy L Lieveing of Coal Valley and 18 year old Dalton L Thompson of Coal Valley for liquor control act violation and illegal consumption and driving under the influence. Thompson posted bond.


A 16 year old male juvenile was arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis and drug equipment, a notice to appear was issued.

19 year old Trevor J Chayer of Kewanee was arrested for possession of cannabis, bond was posted.

Friday morning, Kewanee police issued a parking ticket and tow tag in the area of 1st and Burr Streets.

A vehicle operated by 66 year old Nancy Johnson of Kewanee struck a parked/unattended vehicle owned by 18 year old Jessica Redenius of Kewanee.  There were no injuries or citations.

21 year old Kyle Elgin of Kewanee turned himself in on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.  He posted cash bond.

A vehicle driven by 87 year old Cora Sopiars of Kewanee backed into a parked/unattended vehicle owned by 42 year old Mary Simmons of Kewanee.  There were no injuries or citations.

Friday evening, there was an accident involving vehicles driven by 45 year old Jolene Poole of Kewanee and 52 year old William Bond of Kewanee.  There were no injuries, but a citation was issued to Poole for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

A vehicle driven by 37 year old Randy Aman of Kewanee slid into a pole at West and Pine Streets.  There were no injuries or citations.

Saturday morning, Kewanee police issued 4 parking tickets in the 200 block of South Elm Street.

A vehicle driven by 66 Doris Smith of Buda struck a parked vehicle owned by 75 year old Vivian Krause of Toulon.  There were no injuries or citations.

43 year old Robert Brimhall of Kewanee was issued a citation for speeding 44 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Saturday night, Kewanee police arrested 32 year old Melinda Twitty of Kewanee for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis.  Also arrested was 30 year old Lesley Wiley of Kewanee for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis, and endangering the life of a child.  Both posted bond.

18 year old Gavin DeSplinter of Geneseo was issued a citation for speeding 55 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Kewanee police issued a citation to 26 year old Brandon Appenheimer of Toulon for speeding 52 mph in a 35 mph zone.

3 people were arrested in a traffic stop in the 600 block of North Main early Sunday morning.  18 year old Dalton Thompson of Coal Valley was arrested for DUI.  He posted bond and was released.  19 year old Charlie Womack of Silvis and 20 year old Jeremy Leiving of Coal Valley were arrested for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.  They were given notices to appear.

Kewanee Police report 50 year old John E Howell of Peoria was arrested on a Peoria county warrant for FTA, for battery and unlawful violation, he was taken to jail.

50 year old Jeffery L Weir was arrested on a Stark County warrant for FTA for resisting a peace officer, DUI, criminal damage to propery bond was posted.

22 year old Samantha L Murphy of Kewanee turned herself in on a Henry County for FTA for operating an uninsured vehicle, bond was posted.

22 year old Alice S Smith of Kewanee was arrested on a Henry county warrant for FTA for driving while license is suspended, bond was posted.

An accident involving a vehicle driven by 43 year old David B Solano of Kewanee and 59 year old David A Felton of Milan, no injuries, a citation was issued to Solano for fail to yield while turning left.

Kewanee Police report a vehicle operated by 34 year old Kelli E Saey of Kewanee struck a parked vehicle owned by 43 year old Michael R James, no injuries or citations.

Kewanee Police report an accident at 10th and Kent, vehicles driven by 31 year old Oliver R Hamilton of Kewanee and 17 year old Adam J Unakis of Neponset were involved. No injuries or citations.

31 year old Lisa D Dutyschaver of Kewanee was arrested for possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams, she was issued a NTA.

A 15 year old male was arrested for aggravated battery, he was released to a parent.

18 year old Tabitha L Speairs of Kewanee was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle.

Kewanee Police arrested a 17 year old male on 2 Henry County warrants for burglary and the 2nd for FTA, for the orginal charge of no valid drivers license and speeding, he was unable to post bond and taken to jail.

33 year old Brandy L Gordon of Kewanee was arrested on a Henry County warrant for FTA for failuer to wear a seatbelt, unable to post bond she was taken to jail.

Kewanee Police arrested 53 year old James R Morrissey of Galva for retail theft, aggravated battery of a senior citizen and aggravated battery in a public place, he was taken to jail.

30 year old Andrew A Ainley of Kewanee was arrested on a vaild henry county warrant for DWLS, bond was posted.

39 year old Thomas W Roberts was cited for speeding 51 in a 30.

54 year old James W Goodrich was arrested for domestic battery and taken to jail.

39 year old Edward L Cudiff of Roseville was cited for going 50 in a 35.

A 16 year old female was arrested for criminal damage to propery and curfew violation, she was issued a NTA.

Friday Evening, Kewanee police issued a citation to 32 year old Christie Allen of New Lenox for speeding 46 in a 30 mph zone. She was given a notice to appear.

33 year old Hayley Webster of Kewanee was issued a citation for speeding 53 in a 40 mph zone.  She was given a notice to appear.

Two men were arrested after a traffic stop in the 200 block of Rice Street late Friday night.  27 year old Carlos Guerro-Herrera of Monmouth was arrested for driving on a suspended license.  He posted bond.  24 year old Fabian Zapata-Ramos of Galesburg was arrested for a Warren County warrant for failure to appear on a DUI charge.  He also posted bond.

On Saturday afternoon, there was an accident in the 700 block of Tenney Street between vehicles driven by 74 year old Patricia Damron of Kewanee and 31 year old Elizabeth Smullen of Peoria.  There were no injuries or citations.

A vehicle driven by 17 year old Nicole Hill of Kewanee struck a vehicle owned by 50 year old Patricia Daniels of Kewanee.  No injuries or citations were reported.

44 year old Scott Murphy of Galva was issued a citation for disobeying a signal indicating the approach of a train.  He posted his driver’s license as bond.

Kewanee police arrested 35 year old Amy Reed of Sheffield on a LaSalle County warrant for driving on a suspended license.  She posted bond.

Kewanee Police issued 25 year old Justin Allen Trayer a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle, a notice to appear was issued.

86 year old Mary A Wysowski of Kewanee and 37 year old Jim H Anderson of Cambridge struck, no injuries, citations issued to Wysowski for disobeying a traffic control device.

24 year old Felcia A Gibson of Kewanee was arrested on a Henry County Warrant for FTA for driving while suspended, bond was posted.

18 year old Ashley R Ellsworth of Stillman Valley was issued a citation for speeding 50 in a 35, a NTA was issued.

18 year old Jerry A Nanniga of Kewanee turned himself in on a Henry County warrant for FTA for resisting a peace officer, unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, possession of cannabis, he was unable to post bond and taken to the Henry County Jail.

19 year old Elizabeth Yelm of Kewanee was arrested for possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license is suspended and on a Henry County warrant for FTA of driving while license is suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was taken to jail.

22 year old Amanda J Kirkhove was issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle, a NTA was issued.
