Rebecca Petrovic says, Located less than a mile off I-80 on the edge of the little hamlet of Atkinson, is a little gem of a restaurant. Apparently, according to the locals the steak is pretty darn good. I, however, was there for the breakfast. For me, it is usually about the breakfast. I saw several wonderful looking and terrific smelling plates of food at surrounding tables. The Bird's Nest, for instance, is a half order of biscuits and gravy, with hash browns and eggs cooked to your liking. Today I had the French toast with sausage and eggs, and a coffee. The French toast was heavenly, made of home-made bread and the aroma of vanilla wafting through the air. It was perfect, and the coffee was fresh and very delicious. It couldn’t have been more perfect…everything was so tasty! The service by the way is great. The servers are ever-present, but not annoyingly so, and work co-operatively, making for a really nice experienc.
