The Galva Freedom Fest will be holding their annual event on the 4th of July. The day begins with a 5K race, 1/2 fun run for children 10 and under, pancake breakfast, kids games, antique tractor show, softball tournament, Art Jam, cow bing and photo show. At noon the parade kicks off with lunch following in Wiley Park along with a kiddie tractor pull, entertainment and talent show. The evening concludes with music by InsideOut and spectacular fireworks by the internationally acclaimed Melrose Pyrotechnics at the Galva Park District.
