A Chicago federal judge has rejected Rod Blagojevich's latest request for a new trial. U.S. District Judge James Zagel called today's request "harebrained" and that it was prepared without adequate thought. Lawyers for the ex-Illinois governor wanted a new trial after saying the forewoman in Blagojevich's second trial shouldn't have shared copies of jury questionnaires and summons with a high school class. Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years in prison almost two weeks ago.
