The Henry County Sheriff’s Department made several arrests after deputies went to 23591 E. 220 st north of Atkinson on Friday morning to locate a subject on a warrant arrest.

Deputies went to that address which is located on the Atkinson Slab in Atkinson Township looking for 19 year old Mitchell Miller of Kewanee who was wanted on a Department of Corrections Warrant.

Miller was not there at the time but deputies discovered two subjects wanted on outstanding warrants, and they also discovered a lot more in the process.

Deputies ultimately obtained a search warrant as they discovered an alleged methamphetamine manufacturing operation.

Deputies then arrested 40 year old Shelby Garrigan of that Atkinson  address on a Henry County Warrant for failure to pay on a charge of driving on a suspended license and the manufacture of meth. Garrigan was taken to the Henry County Jail.

Deputies also arrested 19 year old Dalton Menold of that address on a Henry County Warrant for failure to appear on charges of driving with no valid drivers license and of operating a meth lab and took Menold to the Henry County Jail.

Deputies also arrested 58 year old Nola Speairs of the Atkinson address and charged her with obstruction of justice and meth manufacturing and took her to the Henry County Jail.

18 year old David Lally of Princeton was also charged with the manufacture of meth and was taken to the Henry County Jail.

Also arrested was 21 year old Cami Menold of the Atkinson address on charges of meth manufacturing and took her to the Henry County Jail.

21 year old Brent Davis of Buda was also charged with meth manufacturing and taken to the Henry County Jail.

As the arrests were being made, the original suspect, 19 year old Mitchell Miller of Kewanee returned but upon seeing the officers, promptly took off again.  A subsequent traffic stop led to the arrest of Miller, wanted on an Illinois Department of Corrections Warrant and was taken to the Henry County Jail. The diver of the vehicle, 23 year old Tyler DeMuynck of Bradford was issued a notice to appear in court on charges of driving on a revoked license.
