Fifteen-Percent Of IL Seniors Live Below Poverty Line

More Illinois senior citizens live below the poverty line than originally thought. A new study by the Kaiser Family Foundation says Illinois' share of people who live in poverty and are over 65 was 15-percent in 2011. However, data supplied by the state of Illinois claims it's eight-percent. Experts say the Family Foundation's data is considered to be more accurate.
