A traffic stop ended with a Cambridge man being arrested and taken to the Henry County Jail. Deputies clocked a vehicle at 66 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone as it approached Cambridge Thursday evening around 11:45. When officers stopped the car, the driver ran to a residence, and was later apprehended. 20-year-old Austin Brown was charged with speeding, DUI, fleeing and eluding, and no driver’s license on person. His bond was set at 500-dollars.
A Kewanee man was served an arrest warrant after Kewanee Police transported him to the Henry County Jail. When 31-year-old Terry Giglio arrived at the facility in Cambridge at 7 o’clock Saturday morning, deputies served him with warrants for aggravated battery and aggravated intimidation. His bond was set at 10-thousand dollars.
27-year-old Brian Yelm of Kewanee was arrested by Henry County Sheriff’s Deputies as he was found walking away from a single vehicle accident around 4 o’clock Sunday morning. Officers were investigating a report of the accident, which occurred near the intersection of the Galva Atkinson Blacktop and the Page Street extension. Yelm was charged with Felony DUI, operating an uninsured vehicle, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and no valid registration. He was taken to the Henry County Jail.
