Corn Field Workers Sprayed By Crop-Duster

As many as 70 people, many of them teenagers were sprayed by a crop-dusting plane this morning in an eastern Illinois corn field.  Police say the group was detasseling corn near the small town of Pesotum when a plane spraying fungicide flew over and dropped some of the chemical on the group.  Firefighters decontaminated the workers at the site, but they were transported to a hospital in Urbana as a precaution.  Some of the workers report skin irritation, but there were no serious injuries.
