Ronald A. Wilson, 86, of Buda, formerly of Sheffield died Friday, January 10, 2014 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14th at Bunker HillChurch, Buda. Pastor Stephen Myong will officiate. Inurnment will be in SheffieldCemetery, Sheffield with military honors by Sheffield American Legion Post. Memorial visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the services on Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to Buda or Sheffield Rescue Units.
Ron was born July 25, 1927 in Whitewater, WI the son of Alvin and Tillie (Dunbar) Wilson. He married Patricia Dean on December 27, 1951 in Sheffield. She died on July 25, 2002. Ron served in the U.S. Navy for 23 years serving during World War II, Korean War and the Vietnam War. He then worked in Hyperbaric Medicine at MillardFillmoreHospital in Buffalo, NY. Ron was a member of Bunker HillChurch, Buda and he loved his family especially the grandchildren.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Timothy Wilson and Vilma Dydas, of Elgin, IL; a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Rodney Rediger, Buda; six grandchildren, Jordan, Jace, Andy, Becca, Adele and Abigaile. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
