Ronda J. Will Diericx, 49, of Geneseo, stoically passed away at home in the arms of her son Taylor on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. A memorial visitation celebrating Ronda’s life will be held from 3-5 pm on Saturday, January 25th at Vandemore Funeral Homes, Geneseo. Per her request Cremation Rites have been accorded. Memorials may be left to the Geneseo Food Pantry or Geneseo Animal Shelter.
Ronda was born on October 15, 1964 in Geneseo, IL, the daughter of James and Deloris (Frank) Will. Ronda graduated from Atkinson High School in 1982. She was united in marriage to Michael Diericx on October 15, 1994. They later divorced. She was employed with Chip King Industries in Milan which later became CMT. Ronda then worked for Shabbona Creek RV and the Cellar Restaurant.
Ronda was a member of the Geneseo Moose Lodge #990. She enjoyed garage sales and collecting antiques. She will fondly be remembered by her friends for her generosity.
She is survived by her son Taylor Diericx, LeClaire, IA; mother: Deloris Kayl, Geneseo; sisters: Deb Will Viane, Little Rock, AR, Pam (Charles) Fisher, Kemah, TX, Julie Will Langford, Dickinson, TX; step-son: Ken Diericx, Geneseo; step-mother: Mary M. Will, Geneseo; step-sisters: Tina (Rock) VanOpdorp, Robin (Jim) VanMeenen, and their families; step-brothers: Terry (Jill) Vandemore, Tom Vandemore, Joel (Janel) Vandemore, and their families; nieces: Brandy, Brooke; great nieces and nephews: Alexis, Kayla, Kaleb, Jeremiah.
She was preceded in death by her father, James A. Will, and her grandparents.
