Judith L. Bobinski, 74, of Cambridge, died Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Marigold Rehab & Health Care Center, Galesburg. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2nd, at the Cambridge Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services. Rev. Paul Benevides will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Her cremated remains will be scattered in the ocean at a later date. Memorial may be made to the Judy Bobinski Memorial Fund.
Judith Lynn Waymack was born March 4, 1940, in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Howard E. and Roberta L. Greenleaf Waymack. She graduated from Bettendorf High School in 1958. Her marriage to Frank “Bo” Bobinski took place on July 30, 1958 in Iowa City, Iowa. He died August 11, 2007. Judy was a Realtor most of her working life. Her hobbies were crossword puzzles and puzzle books. She was a big TV buff.
Those surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Roy Shaw, Cambridge, two sons and daughters-in-law, Mitch and Donna Bobinski, Charlotte, NC, Kyle and Dawn Bobinski, Andover, and five grandchildren, Alesha Shaw, Jackson and Joshua Bobinski, Darcy Franks, and Guy Frison. Other survivors include five great grandchildren, Cole, Cade, and Clara Franks, Addison Frison, Tyler Housley, a sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Ron Seibring, St. Cloud, MN, and their four children, Megan, Matthew, Michelle, and Michael. Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.
