Robert E. Woodford, 80, of Wyoming, died at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, August 5, 2012, at Illinois Veterans Home in LaSalle, Illinois.
Bob was born June 20, 1932, in Marshall County, Illinois, the son of Earl and Zula Tucker Woodford. He married JoAn Flinner on April 8, 1955, in Wyoming. She survives.
Also surviving is two daughters, Robin Woodford and Ronda (Steve) Woodford-Storey both of Wyoming; one granddaughter, Bobbi Ann Storey; and one sister, Barbara VanRiper of Kewanee.
Bob was a United States Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War, and was a member of the Wyoming American Legion Post #91.
He worked for Ameren/Cilco. Bob enjoyed collecting antiques and took pride in his yard. He loved spending time with his family.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at Wyoming Cemetery.
