It will be one more season for White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko. FOX Sports reports Konerko will call it quits after the 2014 campaign. The 37-year-old slugger says he is retiring after the season because his wife "laid down the law." In 126 games last year for the Pale Hose, Konerko hit .244 with 12 homers and 54 RBI. The six-time All-Star signed a one-year, 2.5-million-dollar contract earlier this offseason. In 17 seasons overall, Konerko is hitting .281 with 434 home runs. He won a World Series with the White Sox in 2005.
