Palmer is in the opening group on the course this morning, while Westwood and Chappell have afternoon tee times. Jim Furyk, Henrik Stenson and Rory McIlroy are among five players knotted a 5-under. McIlroy is trying for his third straight win, having captured the WGC- Bridgestone Invitational last week in Ohio after claiming the British Open crown last month. Tiger Woods, the PGA winner in 2000 at Valhalla, struggled to a 3-over 74, while Phil Mickelson is four shots off the lead at 2-under.
