Cards Rally Past Brewers

Allen Craig's RBI single in the top of the ninth lifted the Cardinals to a 3-2 comeback win over the Brewers in the opener of a three-game series. Craig's hit came after Matt Holliday delivered a game-tying two-run single in the frame. Lance Lynn struck out 10 over seven innings in a no-decision. Jason Motte was credited with his fourth win for St. Louis, which stopped a three-game skid. Joe Kelly is slated to oppose Randy Wolf in the second of the three-game series tonight.
