Friday night's game between the Quad Cities River Bandits and Kane County Cougars at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark has been postponed. The game will be made up in a doubleheader Saturday, April 20, beginning at 1 p.m.
Saturday's doubleheader will be the second in five days for the River Bandits (9-3), who split a home twin bill with Clinton on Tuesday at Modern Woodmen Park. Kane County (4-8) will play its third doubleheader in eight days. The Cougars have had postponements on six of the last nine days. Quad Cities won Thursday's series opener at Kane County, 9-8, in 10 innings.
Five of the last 10 games have been postponed for Quad Cities, which had five games (four postponements, one cancellation) affected by weather in the entire 2012 season.
