Blackhawks Defeat Predators In OT

Marian Hossa fired in a power-play goal in overtime for the Blackhawks in a 5-4 win over Nashville.  Hossa scored barely a minute into OT helping lead Chicago to its seventh straight victory.  Patrick Kane, Michael Handzus, Duncan Keith and Brandon Saad all lit the lamp for the 'Hawks in the win.  Corey Crawford made 23 saves for Chicago and Pekka Rinne  had 25 for the Predators.  Matt Halischuk racked up two goals and an assist in the eighth straight loss for Nashville.   First-place Chicago has a 12-point lead on Anaheim in the Western Conference.
