The St. Louis Cardinals are back in the World Series for the second time in three seasons after defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers 9-0 in Game Six of the National League Championship Series at Busch Stadium. Michael Wacha tossed seven innings of two-hit, scoreless ball for his second win of the series with both coming against Clayton Kershaw. Wacha was named the NLCS MVP. Carlos Beltran was 3-for-4 with two RBI for St. Louis, which will play the Red Sox or Tigers in Game One of the Fall Classic on Wednesday. Shane Robinson also knocked in two runs in the starting lineup in place of Jon Jay. A.J. Ellis and Carl Crawford each had a hit for Los Angeles. Kershaw slipped to 0-and-2 in the series after giving up seven runs in four-plus innings.
