Cowboys Rally Past Vikings

Dallas quarterback Tony Romo connected with Dwayne Harris for a seven-yard touchdown with 35 seconds left as the Cowboys rallied to beat the Vikings 27-23 yesterday in Texas.  Romo finished 34-of-51 for 337 yards with two TD's and an interception for the Cowboys, who upped their mark to 5-and-4.  Jason Witten had eight catches for 102 yards and a score in the victory.  Vikings signal-caller Christian Ponder was 25-of-37 for 236 yards with a TD and a pick.  He also fumbled in the end zone leading to a Dallas score, and ran in a touchdown himself for the Vikes.  Minnesota fell to 1-and-7 with its fourth straight loss.  Adrian Peterson rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown in the setback.  The Vikes host the Redskins on Thursday night at the Metrodome.  Washington beat San Diego yesterday in overtime 30-24.
